Steam

I'm a big fan of Valve's digital distribution service - Steam.
It allows me to buy the latest PC games at a discounted price without even leaving my home, and play them the same day without using disks and having to worry about scratching them. It has a community, making it easy to message my friends, see what they're playing and join whatever online game they're in. On top of all that, they have regular deals on various games every few weeks, sometimes offering up to 50% off selected games, all with customer support and a vast number of forum members willing to help you with any problems you encounter. With all this, what do I have to complain about?
Don't get me wrong, I love what Valve have done, but I wish it offered the same content worldwide at the same prices. The U.S is getting more games at lower prices, some that don't even look like they're being released on the U.K Steam. I realise that there's probably a lot of legal nonsense going on preventing them from releasing games worldwide, but with all that Valve have done to the gaming industry, It seems odd that after (in somes cases) months of games being released in America that there's no sign of U.K release. Haven't the game developers seen what Steam can do for sales? Particularly "Left 4 Dead" after a price drop making the overall sales go up by 3000% - http://tinyurl.com/ad6gdz
I guess this is just a silly rant. I'll continue to use the service for PC gaming in the hope to see a more fair Steam in the future.
